Swiss Army Museum Society (SAMS)

 

 

The Swiss Army Museum Society (SAMS) is a society with the following objectives:

  • Promote the creation of a Swiss Army Museum;
  • Contribute to the conservation of army material and to its investigation and  documentation;
  • Advance the knowledge on Swiss military history.

In 2008 the society founded the Historical Swiss Army Material Foundation, which as independent provider and by order of the DDPS attends to a majority of the collections of historical material of the armed forces.
